Overview
The DT-generation RAM 1500 HEMI is a drivability-led gasoline tuning product more than a huge peak-power play, which makes it a strong mainstream seller. Factory output is 395 hp and 410 lb-ft with towing up to 12,750 lb in the max-tow configuration, so the customer benefit comes from throttle mapping, torque management refinement and better responsiveness when the truck is loaded. This product also benefits from transmission-aware calibration strategy because many customers complain more about lazy response and shift behavior than raw top-end. Newer GPECx control units require a more careful unlock strategy than older FCA petrol ECUs.

Programming Instructions
The Continental GPEC3 / GPEC4 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
