Overview
The Land Rover Defender 2.4 TD4 uses the Siemens Continental SID204 or SID206 ECU family, which is well established in diesel remapping circles. Like its successor, the 2.4 engine responds very well to optimized boost and fueling calibration, with the biggest gains felt in the low and midrange torque band where Defender owners spend most of their time. The platform suits both towing and off-road use, and Stage 1 is emissions-intact with DPF and EGR retained. Off-road delete options are available separately for motorsport and competition use only.

Programming Options
Option 1 — OBD Flash (no ECU removal): Vehicle is tuned via the OBD-II port at AMT Tuning or using the POWERGATE4 tool. No ECU removal required.
Option 2 — ECU Mail-In (bench flash): Remove your ECU and ship it to AMT Tuning. We flash it on the bench and return it within 3–5 business days.
