Overview
The M135i uses the higher output transverse B48 with Bosch MG1CS003 or MG1CS024 depending on production detail, giving it better stock headroom than the regular 30i models. AutoTuner supports OBD work on supported B48 MG1 applications, with later protected DMEs still needing the correct unlock workflow first. Canadian cold weather helps transient response and charge density, and the platform usually delivers very noticeable seat of the pants torque gains even before hardware changes. An intercooler and downpipe setup makes the Stage 2 package commercially attractive.
