Overview
The 430i carries the same modern B48 tuning logic as the 330i, but in a coupe and convertible line that tends to sell better on style and drivability upgrades. Bosch MG1CS024 management and AutoTuner OBD support keep the flash path straightforward on supported cars, with later protected DMEs still needing unlock verification first. The engine reacts very well to cooler Canadian ambient temperatures, especially in transient throttle response and low rpm torque. With intercooler and downpipe upgrades, the platform offers a clean and profitable Stage 2 progression.
