Overview
The Atlas range is unusual from a tuning perspective because it spans both the turbocharged 2.0T and the naturally aspirated 3.6 VR6, so gains depend heavily on engine choice. The 2.0T variant responds well to normal boost based calibration changes, while the 3.6 benefits more modestly from throttle, ignition and torque shaping. This is still a useful product line because drivability, transmission behavior and midrange response improve noticeably even when peak gains are smaller on the VR6.
