The Pentastar RAM is not a headline dyno product, but it is a very good volume seller because the installed base is large and the owner pain points are predictable. Factory output sits around 305 hp and 269-271 lb-ft depending on year, with towing up to roughly 8,110 lb in late-model configurations, so the best tuning story is crisper throttle, reduced lethargy during part-throttle operation and better transmission cooperation under light towing. Programming Instructions
The Continental GPEC2 / GPEC2A-GPEC3 / GPEC4 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
