Overview
Mini’s B48 powered cars are excellent compact tuning platforms because the engine offers strong low inertia spool and a broad torque band from the factory. Software recalibration wakes the chassis up immediately, improving boost response, part throttle urgency and midrange pull without making the car feel peaky. Stage 2 with intake and downpipe support adds another clear step in top end and makes these cars especially entertaining on road and autocross duty.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MG1CS201 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
