Overview
The GV70 2.5T uses the same Smartstream 2.5T core found in other current Genesis products and usually a sealed SIM2K-251 ECU. Bench unlock may be needed on later units, but once supported the tune opportunity is strong because the platform is intentionally torque-limited in lower gears. This SUV is attractive commercially because it combines premium pricing with high-volume crossover demand.

Programming Instructions
The Continental SIM2K-251 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
