Overview
The Mulsanne’s hand built 6.75 litre twin turbo V8 is a very different Bentley engine, built around immense low rpm torque rather than high rev power. ECU tuning here is less about making it feel sporty and more about sharpening response and unlocking more of the engine’s effortless reserve. The platform is specialist and calibration needs to respect heat, transmission load and the car’s luxury mission. Stage 2 can deliver a broader and more authoritative torque curve with carefully matched airflow upgrades.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MED17.1.1 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
