Overview
The first generation V8 Vantage is a classic naturally aspirated Aston platform where tuning is more about sharpening response and cleaning up torque delivery than chasing huge peak gains. Across the 4.3, 4.7, and V8 S variants, the ECU family evolved, but the core character stayed the same: crisp top end power with slightly soft factory pedal calibration. A good remap improves throttle accuracy, rev pickup, and part throttle drivability while preserving the mechanical feel of the car. Stage 2 only brings modest extra gains and works best with intake and exhaust improvements plus careful fueling refinement.
