Overview
The 1.6T K5 platform uses Kefico CPEGD3-series control logic in newer model years and is a strong everyday tuning candidate. Factory mapping is conservative in torque delivery and throttle behavior, so modest software changes make the car feel much more alert. This is a practical high-volume sedan product with good Stage 1 value even though it is not the top K5 performance variant.
