The C8 Stingray sits on GM’s newer E99 security architecture, so tuning is a premium controller-first workflow rather than a simple plug-in flash. Once access is handled, the LT2 responds well to torque management, throttle, and dual-clutch behavior refinement, even though peak NA gains stay moderate. Programming Instructions
The GM E99 ECM ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
