The B58 is one of the strongest current production turbo six cylinders for ECU tuning thanks to its robust closed deck architecture, efficient integrated manifold and broad turbo torque curve. On a calibration level the Bosch MG1 strategy gives large gains from boost, ignition and torque model optimization while keeping factory smoothness. Stage 2 with downpipe and charge cooling support makes these cars feel genuinely fast at any speed and is one of the most saleable German tuning platforms.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MG1CS201 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
