The 2019+ RAM Heavy Duty Cummins sits in the most desirable North American diesel tuning segment because the Bosch diesel management responds exceptionally well to torque-target, rail-pressure, boost and transmission-aware calibration changes. In factory form this generation ranges from standard-output 370 hp / 850 lb-ft to high-output 420 hp / 1,075 lb-ft, with towing as high as 37,090 lb when properly equipped, so even conservative Stage 1 tuning is very noticeable in grade-pulling, throttle response and part-load drivability. Cummins also highlights cold-start advancement on the newer 6.7L, which matters for Canadian winter use. Stage 1 should be positioned as emissions-intact with DPF and EGR retained, while Stage 2 should be framed for hardware-equipped off-road or race applications.
