PowerGate 3 / PowerGate 4 Tune Migration Service (Device Replacement & File Transfer)

If you have lost, damaged, or replaced your PowerGate 4, or you are upgrading from PowerGate 3 to PowerGate 4, we offer a migration service to move your existing AMT Tuning files to your new device and get you flashing again.

Supported Migration Scenarios

1) PowerGate 3 → PowerGate 4 (Upgrade Migration)

Upgrade your existing PowerGate 3 project to a new PowerGate 4 device.

2) PowerGate 4 → New PowerGate 4 (Lost/Damaged Device Replacement)

If your PowerGate 4 was lost or damaged and you purchased a new PowerGate 4, we migrate your tuning project to the replacement unit.

Note: We do not migrate PowerGate 3 → PowerGate 3 (PowerGate 3 is no longer produced).

What This Service Includes

• Migration of your AMT Tuning project to the new device serial number
• Re-supplying your available tune file(s) associated with your purchase history (Stage 1 / Stage 2 / Stage 3, etc.)
• Support to confirm which calibration is currently on the vehicle (based on your last flash or flash history/logs)

Important note about “Original” file behavior after replacement:

• On a replacement device, the first “original” read commonly reflects the last calibration currently flashed on the vehicle (not necessarily the factory-original).
• If the true factory-original stock file needs to be supplied, it may need to be loaded as one of the tune slots (device-slot limitations apply).

If you are migrating from PowerGate 3 to PowerGate 4

• New PowerGate 4 Serial Number (S/N)
• Old PowerGate 3 Serial Number (S/N)
• Vehicle year / make / model
• Your order info (name + email used at checkout)

Migration Procedure

1. Purchase the Migration Service ($100 USD).
2. Email us the required details (serial numbers + vehicle info).
3. We will instruct you to connect the new PowerGate 4 and perform the initial identify/read (as required for your platform).
4. Once uploaded/confirmed, we will load the appropriate tune file(s) to your account/device slots and advise which file is which.

FAQ

Do you offer PowerGate 3 replacements or PowerGate 3 → PowerGate 3 migrations?
No. PowerGate 3 is no longer produced, and we do not perform PowerGate 3 → PowerGate 3 migrations. We support PowerGate 3 → PowerGate 4 upgrades instead.

Do I need to remember which tune was last flashed?
If you know it, tell us (Stage 1 vs Stage 2, etc.). If not, we can usually confirm it by reviewing available flash history/logs after the new device is connected/read.
