Overview
The 986 is the first generation mid engine Boxster and one of Porsche’s most important modern analog sports cars. Software gains are naturally modest on these early naturally aspirated engines, but tuning noticeably improves throttle response, mid range crispness, and the overall urgency of the flat six.

- Follow the on-screen prompts to read your stock file (takes approx. 15–30 minutes)
- Send the stock file to AMT Tuning — we will prepare your custom tune
- Flash the returned tune file using the POWERGATE4 — your vehicle is ready to drive
- To revert: use the POWERGATE4 to flash your saved stock file at any time
