Overview
The 718 Boxster range split into two very different tuning personalities: turbo flat four cars with major software headroom and later 4.0 litre naturally aspirated halo models that respond more subtly. On the turbo cars, gains are dramatic, while the 4.0 models benefit more from sharper throttle behavior, cleaner torque delivery, and supporting hardware.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MED17 / MG1 family ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will connect directly to the ECU on the bench, read the stock file, and flash your custom tune
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
