Overview
Mercedes’ M256 inline six is a smooth and rewarding platform because the turbocharged mild hybrid setup responds well to torque target, boost and airflow calibration changes. Newer cars use locked Bosch MG1CP002 management, so the initial workflow generally starts with a bench unlock before repeat flashing is possible. Stage 2 with intake and exhaust support widens the torque plateau and gives these heavier chassis much stronger real world acceleration.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MG1CP002 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
