Overview
Mercedes’ twin turbo M276 V6 remains a solid tuning platform because the engine has good factory airflow and responds well to extra boost and revised ignition strategy. The earlier MED17 family control is comparatively straightforward to work with, which makes remote and repeat flashing easier than on newer locked MG1 cars. Stage 2 with freer flowing exhaust support gives a noticeably stronger midrange and better pull through the upper gears.
