Overview
The M139 is one of the highest specific output four cylinders in production and it reacts very strongly to ECU work because the factory turbo system and cylinder head are extremely capable. These cars use locked Bosch MG1CP002 management on newer applications, so support requires bench unlock planning before flash delivery. Once tuned, Stage 1 and Stage 2 offer major gains in both spool and top end while preserving the sharp AMG character.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MG1CP002 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
