Overview
The early GranTurismo 4.2 uses a Ferrari-derived naturally aspirated V8 with Bosch management and a very characterful high rpm powerband. Tuning gains are modest in pure peak numbers, but the platform responds well to improved throttle mapping, crisper torque delivery, and cleaner top end behavior. This is a refinement-focused calibration where the goal is to make the engine feel sharper without losing the grand touring balance.
