Stage 1 – Performance Software Tune

Stage 1 consists of an individual reprogramming of the engine management system of the vehicle, whereby the adjustment of the engine parameters (e.g. ignition, injection, throttle response, torque limiters, etc.) are custom adjusted. All engine parameter values at this stage remain within the safety standards prescribed by the manufacturer.

Stage 1 is 100% reliable and emission compliant when used with all factory catalytic converters and emissions equipment in place.

This package includes:

• Stage 1 ECU performance calibration for the 2.5L 4GR-FSE V6
• OBD2 flashing cable
• Windows-based flashing software
• 1-year subscription for reading and programming the ECU

Stage 2 & Stage 2+ (Optional Upgrades)

Stage 2 requires aftermarket parts to enhance the intake and exhaust flow capabilities of the vehicle and provide a less restrictive path. The required parts are:

• Cold air intake
• Headers (either catless or high-flow catted)
• Upgraded cat-back exhaust system

The Stage 2 tune is calibrated to account for the improved airflow and reduced backpressure.

Stage 2+ is a more aggressive calibration for fully bolt-on vehicles (intake, headers, full exhaust, and supporting mods), offering sharper response and higher output while remaining within safe operating limits for the 4GR-FSE platform.

Note: This package includes the Stage 1 tune by default. Stage 2, Stage 2+, and Pops & Bangs options can be selected as upgrades from the tune selection tabs when placing your order, provided the vehicle has the required supporting modifications. For Pops & Bangs tunes, a less restrictive exhaust system is strongly recommended.

Flashing Method – OBD2 Cable & Flashing Software

The included OBD2 Cable and Flashing Software (requires Windows laptop with internet connection) is a compatible OBD2 interface with supporting software and a 1-year subscription which allows you to read and program the vehicle’s ECU.

• The ECU can be restored to factory settings at any time
• Safe to use and user-friendly procedure
• Ability to independently select and upload your map to your vehicle
