Overview
The modern twin turbo S63 V8 responds extremely well to tuning because BMW leaves meaningful margin in the factory torque model, boost targets and thermal management strategy. Stage 1 alone turns these cars into a different class of performance machine while preserving stock drivability and start up behavior. Stage 2 with downpipes and cooling support unlocks a very large top end improvement and is especially compelling on heavier X and Gran Coupe applications.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MG1CS201 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
