Overview
The M340i uses the Bosch MG1CS049 DME on later North American cars and sits on one of the best modern turbo six tuning foundations thanks to the B58’s efficient airflow, direct injection headroom, and strong factory cooling. AutoTuner ONE supports OBD read and write on supported MG1 B58 applications, though post June 2020 security can still require an unlock before normal flashing. On Canadian pump fuel the platform responds especially well in cold dense air, with very strong midrange torque gains on stock hardware. A FMIC, downpipe, and charge pipe package pushes it cleanly into Stage 2 territory.
