Overview
BMW’s S58 is a premium performance engine with substantial tuning headroom because the twin turbo system, airflow path and factory fueling all support higher load than stock. The locked Bosch MG1 ECU means newer cars generally need bench unlock support, but once available the power gains are immediate and very repeatable. Stage 2 hardware lets the engine sustain higher boost and lower backpressure, producing a major jump in trap speed and upper rpm power.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MG1CS024 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
