Audi’s 4.0T V8 is a premium high output platform with significant tuning margin because the Bosch MG1 ECU governs boost, torque request, ignition and multiple temperature models very precisely. Even on stock hardware, a careful Stage 1 file produces a huge jump in area under the curve without harming everyday manners. With downpipes and upgraded cooling, Stage 2 keeps the turbos in a stronger efficiency zone and delivers a much harder pull through the top end.
