Overview
The 2.9T biturbo V6 uses Bosch MG1 torque based control and responds extremely well to boost and ignition optimization. These cars gain hard through the midrange because the factory calibration is conservative relative to the turbo system’s airflow capacity. Stage 2 with downpipes and charge air improvements lets the engine carry torque higher and makes the platform feel much more urgent above 5000 rpm.
