Overview
The DB11 V12 introduced Aston Martin’s in house 5.2 litre twin turbo V12 and marked a major shift from the older naturally aspirated cars. This engine offers excellent tuning headroom, particularly in the midrange, but it needs careful calibration to preserve the smooth and expensive feel expected from the platform. Compared with the AMG V8 cars, the twelve cylinder is more security sensitive and generally treated as a bench flash application. Done properly, Stage 1 gives the DB11 V12 a much stronger torque wave without making it feel coarse.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch ME17.8.31 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
