Overview

The engine has strong hardware from the factory, so tuning mainly unlocks conservative boost and torque modeling rather than forcing the combination beyond its comfort zone. Programming Instructions
The Bosch MED17.3.5 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
