Overview
The IONIQ 5 N is not a conventional ECU remap platform because performance changes center on VCU, inverter, and torque-request logic rather than combustion calibration. Development is more complex and hardware-temperature dependent, so gains must remain conservative compared with turbo petrol tuning. It is still attractive from a product perspective because demand is strong and early EV calibration packages command premium pricing.

Programming Instructions
The Hyundai E-GMP VCU / Inverter Control ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
