Overview
Bosch MG1 control on the B58 gives this platform huge calibration range, but later cars typically need a bench style unlock before normal flashing. Torque shaping, boost, and thermal strategies respond extremely well to software, so even stock hardware cars pick up major midrange and top-end. With basic bolt-ons the factory turbo still has useful headroom. The outputs below are conservative pump-fuel targets.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MG1CS201 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
