Overview
The latest RS3 uses the EA855 EVO five cylinder with a locked Bosch MG1 ECU, so support planning has to account for initial unlock requirements before normal flashing. Once opened up, the engine responds extremely well because the turbo system and bottom end have strong reserve over the stock calibration. Stage 2 with intake and exhaust support delivers major gains in both trap speed and midrange thrust while preserving the signature five cylinder character.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MG1CS163 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- Remove the ECU from your vehicle (refer to your workshop manual for location and procedure)
- Package securely and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
