Overview
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S uses the hot-V 4.0L M177 twin-turbo V8 managed by Bosch MED17.7.5, one of the most rewarding AMG calibration platforms. The factory file is conservative relative to the engine’s hardware capability, leaving a large window for boost, torque, and ignition optimization. Even a Stage 1 bench flash transforms the mid and upper range of this engine, with Stage 2 hardware taking it significantly further. The ECU must be removed and sent to AMT Tuning for bench flashing — a straightforward mail-in process with a 3–5 day turnaround.

Programming Instructions
The Bosch MED17.7.5 ECU requires bench flashing — direct connection to the ECU outside the vehicle. The ECU must be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.

- Package securely in a padded box and ship to AMT Tuning at the address below
- AMT will read your stock file and flash your custom tune directly on the bench
- Turnaround is typically 3–5 business days from receipt
- Reinstall the returned ECU — the tune is active immediately on start-up
