Description
Stage 1 consists of an individual reprogramming of the engine management system, where ignition timing, fueling, throttle response, torque limiters and rev limit are recalibrated for safe, daily-use performance on pump fuel.
Stage 2 is a custom-adjusted calibration in which all relevant engine parameters are further optimized to accommodate additional modifications such as aftermarket sports exhaust, high-flow or catless headers, and upgraded cold air intake systems. Pops & Bangs calibrations are available on suitable hardware.
All maps are developed to deliver the best possible performance and results within safe operating margins, while retaining excellent drivability and street usability.

Programming & Flashing Options
1. ECU Bench Programming (Ship-In Service)
- ECUs can be removed from the vehicle and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.
- We read, program and verify the ECU on the bench, then return it ready to plug back into the vehicle.

2. OBD Port Tuning at AMT Tuning Ltd (On-Site Only)
- Vehicle can be tuned via the OBD port at AMT Tuning’s facility by appointment.
- Ideal for customers who prefer us to handle the full flashing process on-site.
3. Remote OBD Tuning with BBS OBD2 Tool
- Vehicle is tuned via the OBD2 port using the BBS OBD2 cable and Windows flashing software.
- No ECU opening required; your original (stock) file is read and stored, then the tuned file is written back.
- You can return the car to stock using the same tool while your subscription is active.
- The BBS tool can be used to tune multiple vehicles, however:
- Each additional vehicle requires the purchase of a separate base tune / Stage 1 file.
- Licences/tunes are sold per vehicle/ECU, not per tool.
- Flashing software includes a 1-year subscription for reading/writing; after that, a renewal is required to continue flashing.
4. Alientech Powergate 4 Tuning Tool (Remote OBD – No PC Required)
- Handheld tuning device that works with a smartphone app (iOS / Android / EMUI).
- Connects to the vehicle via OBD and to your phone via Bluetooth; files are managed via the cloud.
- Allows you to read the ECU, flash tuned files, and return to stock without a PC or laptop.
- Supports multiple custom maps (e.g. stock, Stage 1, Stage 2, Pops & Bangs) where available for your setup.
